Hello, I'm Colette
I'm an illustrator and visual artist who creates dreamlike, surreal worlds where beauty and unease coexist. My work is rooted in storytelling, memory, and the strange in-between spaces that feel both intimate and otherworldly.
Originally from Iowa, I now live and work in Los Angeles. When I'm not in the studio, you can find me collecting trinkets, enjoying nature, and dreaming up new worlds.
I explore identity, memory, pop culture, and places where daydreams brush up against reality. I grew up drawn to fantasy novels and the sense of escape they offered, often wishing I could step into the worlds I was reading about. Over time, that fascination became part of my work. Instead of simply imagining those places, I began creating worlds of my own.

I work with the tools I began my journey with, trying to master what I started years ago. I create traditional illustrations, sometimes acrylic, and digital designs. My style blends delicate detail with unexpected touches to create worlds that feel both whimsical and substantial.
